Our Mission
Our mission and purpose is to create an open and inclusive forum for change, by creating a community of all nationalities and backgrounds, where members can share from the heart. We work hand-in-hand with organizations and groups to teach them how to share their mission, garner heart-felt support and give and serve as they make the world a kinder, more just home for everyone.
OUR FOUNDER: Kindwind Institute was founded by Lu Kindblade who has 30+ years in grants & planning and nonprofit management paired with a heart for helping.
Our Current Projects of focus
We focus on very few projects at any one time (usually just 3-5) in order to be fully of service and engaged in change. Currently, we are working on 5 crucial projects: 1) The Bridge, Inc, a nonprofit organization bridging the gaps in communities throughout Oklahoma and beyond; 2) Rural Outreach Services, Inc (ROSI) a nonprofit focusing on meeting the needs of rural residents (and the un-housed) throughout Oklahoma by taking their services "to the street"; 3) CCG--a group of citizens that cares and gives to the homeless in NW Arkansas; 4) Shepherd's Shelter, a homeless outreach in Southern Oklahoma.; and 5) The Majestic Bison Outreach, supporting American Bison and the Native American culture, while serving those in need. As we serve and meet these needs, we are reminded that we are all in this together and we will walk through this event and emerge more kind, loving and peaceful. All while helping other humans.
